6 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 cup of golden syrup
3 tsp bicarbonate of soda
3 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp Rempah Kueh
500g mix fruit raisin
2 tbsp fresh orange juice
4.5 (cans of milk ) Plain Flour
1 can golden churn butter
60ml Martell or Hennessy V.S.O.P (soak with mix fruit raisin for over night the best)
Fiona's Method:
Hand mix the butter and sugar mix well hand mixer do not over mix so i still prefer hand mix.
Add the egg one by one time, hand mix well combine (do not over mix the batter)
Add in tartar and bicarbonate of soda , rempah Kueh or a hand mixer mix well combine
Add in fruit raisins and golden syrup, mix well
cover tide, steam for 5 Hours.. the longer you steam the fruit cake can last up to 5 month
