Easy Apple Strudel - by Fiona Lau


Easy Apple Strudel ... with ready puff pastry, it's easy and yummy!

1 Pampas sheet (thawed)2

2 apples (peeled, cored and diced)
1 tbsp caster sugar
1/2 tbsp flour
1/8 tsp cinnamon powder
icing sugar for dusting

Method
1. Preheat oven to 190°C. Combine apples, sugar, flour and cinnamon in a bowl.
2. Place the pastry on a lightly floured baking tray. Spoon the apple mixture over half of the pastry, leaving a 2cm border around the edges.
3. Seal edges of pastry by using a bit of water on your fingers and crimp the pastry edges.
4. Cut a few slits on the top of the pastry. Bake for 35 minutes or until golden. Transfer to a wire rack lined with baking paper for 30 minutes to cool. Dust with icing sugar and serve.

Note: All ovens vary so cooking temperatures and times may vary.
