500 gm Bread flour
80 gm fine sugar
10 gm yeast (1 pkt)
(B)
1 egg
210 gm fresh milk
(C)
1 tsp salt
60 gm butter
Method:
Mix dry ingredient (A) in a mixing bowl (1 min / low speed)
Add (B) mix (2 mins / medium speed)
Add (C) beat (15 mins / high speed) or until gluten has developed (stretchable)
Rest dough 10 mins, divide into 40 gm, and knead into a balls
Arrange them in your greased pan, and place it at the warmest place in your kitchen
like next to a fridge or inside your oven with a bowl of hot water.
Proof it, LET IT RISE TO THE MAX! DON’T LIMIT TO 45 MINS OR 1 HOUR!
Its ready to bake when you see : Its double the size, shiny and light!
Egg wash, sprinkle with coarse sugar, bake it 170c/ 20 mins
And Wallaaa…! Say good bye to bakery shops out there.
