What happens when meatloaf & a cupcake combine? Sounds gross, right? Find out here:

1. Earlier this week I got a manicure inspired by my absolute favorite site & brand, ban.dõ. How incredible are the designs on my nails. The detail is something I'm still not over & guess what? Astrowifey, Chicago based nail artist, did these all by hand. Yup, you heard me, no stickers, stencils, nothin'. She's beyond talented & super fun to hang out with so make sure to book an appointment with her just in time for summer. 

2. I'm constantly on a mission to find the best cupcakes, macarons, & other pastries wherever I am. So far in Chicago I've tried, Sprinkles, Crumbs (woo hoo, they're back again!), Swirlz, & now Molly's Cupcakes. I was very pleased with Molly's as I'm pretty picky when it comes to a good cupcake. Moisture, frosting, flavor combinations, & more are all factors I look for in a good cupcake. Stay tuned as later this week I plan to recreate the birthday cake cupcake I tried at Molly's to share the recipe with you all!

3. Speaking of cupcakes, how adorable are these meatloaf cupcakes! Yes, meatloaf cupcakes people. I tried both The Mother Loaf (meatloaf topped with mashed potato "frosting") & Loaf-A-Roma (meatloaf topped with swirled spaghetti). For someone who isn't a huge fan of meatloaf this place did not disappoint. Best part about The Meatloaf Bakery is you can kill two birds with one stone as it's located right next to Molly's. Cupcakes for lunch & dessert, what more can ya ask for!
