Gula Malaka Kaya & Pulut Tai - Tai - by Pauline Cheok

Kaya
4 nos egg ( I used kampung eggs) 

200g caster sugar ( I used Gula Melaka ) stir until dissoved 
250 gm coconut milk 
3 screwpine leave Another 50 gm sugar , 
cook until caramelized, 
add in coconut milk to stir
 

Method: Strained eggs liquid pour into coconut milk, add in screwpine leave. To open small fire boil, stirring constantly until thick.
Remember both things use fresh coconut milk

Pulut Tai - Tai 
500 gm glutinous rice( wash and soak the rice for 4 hrs ) 
350 ml coconut milk, 
1 tsp salt , 
3 screw pine leave 
Few clitoria flowers ( bunga telang ) wash 
and pound and extract the juice( get 100 gm of glutinous rice to soak ) 

Method: Get all ingredients put in a pan with the coconut milk , 
salt and screwpine leave .
Steam over rapidly boiling water for 40 min or cooked. 
When the rice well cooked, remove from the steamer .
Mix well using a pair of chopsticks or fork, then flatten .
When the rice is cooled, cut into pieces and serve with homemade kaya😋😋😋
