Also my family all time favourite Butter Cake. This cake moisture and texture good, yummy hor jiak!!

Butter Cake Recipe (8" Round):
(A)
250g Butter( I use scs salted)
200g C.Sugar (I use 150g)
(B)
5 nos Grade A Eggs (at room temperature)
(C)
210g Self Raising Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
(D)
5 tbsp Fresh milk (I use Meiji fresh milk)
- Preheat oven to 170 Celsious & lined yr cake pan.
- Beat (A) till light & fluffy.
- Slowly add (B) in few batches & beat till smooth.
- Fold in sifted (C).
- Lastly add milk(D),mixed well and pour into prelined pan.
- Bake at 180 Celsious for 50 mins (mine at 180 Celsius for 45 mins - adjust according to yr oven).
